“Paisajes y atencion unica”

The place is lovely, with otherworldly scenery, right in the heart of the desert; among the options offered, this one is definitely a good choice. The people who run it, Sonia and her husband, are excellent hosts; breakfasts were delicious and the limited menu options were tasty – they’re truly 100 / 10. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and it’s a magical, unique spot for nature lovers, scenery and adventure. The air conditioning didn’t work, but they gave us several fans.

“Man fühlt sich wie in einer anderen Welt.”

The extraordinary location makes it a very special experience. Because of its seclusion it’s very quiet and you get a beautiful star view. The architecture and the owners’ vision make the place truly unique. Naturally, the isolation comes with some quirks – it’s good to have an off‑road vehicle. Of course you can’t expect a TV or anything like that in the middle of the desert, but that’s why you don’t go to Tatacoa. The many pools are clean and very refreshing. The shower temperature varies from hot to lukewarm depending on the outside temperature. The food is very tasty. We had a room with a fan; the lining was made of a material that caused us to sweat a lot at night – cotton would have been much more comfortable.

“Comodidad en medio del desierto.”

We loved being in the middle of the desert with city comforts and the dedicated attention from Lucila, Juan Diego, and Diego, which made us feel at home; the food was delicious and generous, we got to see first‑class flora and fauna, had a pool right outside the room, and enjoyed colorful sunsets; one night we were lucky enough to see a starry sky. The adventure was worth it, and we’re very grateful for the opportunity. Until next time.

“Súper recomendado!”

The hotel is very pretty, well maintained, and well located; the area feels safe overall, and there are several observatories nearby (Orión, Astrosur). The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed, Wi‑Fi, good cell reception, and we had power all the time thanks to the solar panels. They have pools, which are ideal for kids, and my 5‑year‑old daughter enjoyed them a lot! Breakfast is generous and very tasty. The care, recommendations, and friendliness of Lucila and her family are another big plus. The internal road is in regular condition, but you just have to drive carefully.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s wonderfully situated—simply a dream! The value for money is what really didn’t satisfy us; for that price we expected at least dinner to be included.
