The TV in the room wasn’t a smart TV, which was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely gorgeous! Comfortable and the staff were lovely. Nothing to dislike.

The place was super comfy and right in the middle of everything, with no complaints at all.

The spot is unbeatable, the locals give solid tips, and the bathroom feels freshly polished.

We chose the original building because it’s old and charming, and Marianne was a fantastic host; the room itself was tidy and cozy, though the floor had a slight unevenness typical of a 1850s structure. The Wi‑Fi in our room barely worked, and tap water tasted off, so we had to rely on filtered water from a nearby tap in small bottles—an issue that seems common around Port Fairy, which remains a lovely town.
