What an absolutely gorgeous, charming hotel. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast delicious, and the location stunning. The hotel is undergoing massive extensions; the construction didn’t bother me because I was there over the weekend, but I really hope the finished result won’t diminish the hotel’s charm or make it unaffordable.

Knowing I was disabled they gave me a room with a walk in shower and supplied a wet room seat. They also gave me extra pillows which I asked for, nice big ones which enabled me to sit up in bed. Breakfast was really good, as was the evening meal. Bizarre decor in the bar area which is just a matter of taste

I slept in a super cozy room and the spot is just breathtaking, thanks to the staff who really make the vibe special. The only hiccup is that there’s no lift right now, which could bother someone less mobile, but the new extension will fix that once it’s finished.
