The building is a real work of art, you can literally breathe in its history. They need to upgrade their TVs to complete the personal experience; they have the potential to be one of the best accommodations worldwide, they just don’t know how to tap it.

The location, the room, the friendly staff, the restaurant, and the place’s history are all great, but there is no cable TV.

A classy hotel with style, comfortable and well maintained, though the room rate is moderate; service is excellent across reception, common area cleaning, rooms, and the restaurant.

The architecture and its historical preservation, the proximity to everything, the clean and spacious rooms, the comfortable beds, the many display cases with historical objects, and the rooftop access to view the city are all positives. The lobby staff were not friendly or helpful; nobody was there when we arrived, and they treated us as if we were a favor. There was no cable TV as advertised, only free channels.
