The family pension was peaceful, and the owners were charming and attentive. The family room was cozy, featuring a toilet and a mini onsen shower on the upper floor. The on‑site dinner and breakfast were well‑prepared, delicious, and presented exceptionally. It was a bit far, but the owner dropped us at the station, and a taxi ride was very reasonable.

The setting was beautiful, tucked away in a quiet area not far from the station and city center. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable room that was impeccably clean.

The host was friendly and helpful, offering us a baked sweet potato snack and a Japanese bath. The room was clean. The pension feels a bit worn, which you can see in the photos. The walls are thin, so you can hear toilets flushing and people moving around. Although the town is within walking distance, the route back is uphill and some areas lack streetlights. We had a car, so we drove to town and parked at the Lion d’Or supermarket without any issues.

I can’t praise enough how wonderful our stay was at this cozy, comfortable inn. The owners welcomed us warmly, and Kazu generously drove us to town and picked us up several times, since the inn is about a mile from the center. The breakfasts (and coffee!) were delicious. We liked everything!
