Maple home stay and cottage

The place was stunning, with an unbeatable view of Little Adam’s Peak and Ella Rock. Breakfast was tasty, the staff were wonderful, and laundry was available right next to the accommodation. Everything was convenient, and we could check in and out at any time—absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it. However, when arriving in Ella, a landfill sits at the town’s edge, emitting a strong odor and attracting flies; the road to the accommodation passes by it, so we had flies during breakfast, which was a bit unpleasant. In hot, humid weather, the landfill’s smell was noticeable. This is not the fault of the staff or the property. The hot water was also non‑functional, and the Wi‑Fi was weak.

From the room you can see a beautiful, unique view. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and well maintained. Access to the place involves many stairs, which can be difficult with luggage. The location is far from Ella’s center and it’s not always easy to find a parking spot. Additionally, the site is close to a waste area, and when the wind blows toward the rooms, a strong, unpleasant odor is noticeable, which affected our stay.

A gorgeous view, a good and extensive breakfast, a clean, spacious room with air conditioning, and a friendly, helpful host. From Ella’s center you have to walk uphill for 15 minutes, but the view from the accommodation is worth it.

“Opción tranquila con vistas.”

The views are spectacular, the room size is just right, and the owners are incredibly friendly. The location is a bit far from the center and the access is difficult.

The accommodation in Ella is solid, the room offers excellent views, and the price‑to‑quality ratio is good. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner.
