The hotel is about a 10‑minute walk from the nearest station and has a great location on the lakeside. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty. However, the typical amenities found in Japanese business hotels—such as a kettle, a refrigerator, a TV, and air conditioning—are missing. Of course, if you read the facilities list carefully you’ll see what’s absent.

Absolutely incredible views (so recommend paying that little bit extra for a room with a lake view), functional rooms, wonderful staff and a great – and healthy breakfast. There's even a crazy second‑hand shop tucked away on the first floor.

“mittelmäßig”

The location was perfect. Free parking directly at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor area of the restaurant was very spacious and right by the lake. The double bed was very narrow. Only one blanket, supposedly for two people, but it was also narrow. Thank God there were wool blankets in the wardrobe. The sink in the room had no towel holder or hook.

We liked the breakfast, the tasty café, and the service. Salad and ice cream at dinner, drinks were top. We did not enjoy the main course at dinner. Vegetables: broccoli and cauliflower, meat: one piece. For the price you can expect something different. No décor. The room was not great: 140/200 bed for two colleagues, I slept poorly. The mattress was far too soft. My room was too warm; the heating was on, but I only noticed it at night.
