“Für eine Nacht ok”
The room was spacious and the location was good, but the corridors were poorly cleaned and the hallway door to the room was noisy.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and warm, and the hotel restaurant turned out to be cheaper than we had worried about. We would have liked a free breakfast, but we knew beforehand that it wasn’t included and that’s understandable.

The beds were comfortable, the restaurant was fine, it’s close to Mt. Washington, and the pool was nice. Gnats were everywhere—in the bathroom, on the walls, etc.—and nothing was done except occasional vacuuming. If the gaps between the top and bottom of the door were sealed and a bug spray had been applied along the outside where the building meets the sidewalk, it would have helped; I got bitten under one arm.

The property is charming and shows its age, but the best views come from the restaurant. I enjoyed the spa and gym, and the dinner restaurant was fantastic; Cristina, the waitress, was great. The outdoor area is well kept and beautiful. The rooms need updating, but the nightly rate reflects their age. Our room felt very old, the bathrooms were tiny and outdated.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean, but it was on the second floor above the lobby and reached by a long, grand staircase—quite the climb! Breakfast was not included in the daily rate. The attached restaurant wasn’t busy, but breakfast was very good.
