I really liked its location. The bathroom is outside the bedroom, which is a bit inconvenient.

The location is good. The apartment is a small, very Italian‑style unit in a narrow, dark side alley of a residential building, which felt a bit spooky for a solo female traveler.

I stayed in the historic city center, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, while the cleanliness was outstanding. The apartment had two rooms; one had a private bathroom, the other’s bathroom opened from a small shared kitchen. Luckily, when we were there, the other room was empty, so we felt very comfortable—otherwise it would have been annoying for everyone. The photos look much better than reality, and the building sits on a somewhat rundown part of town; from the outside it feels like a police station, which might be a Neapolitan quirk. If I had seen the exterior first, I probably wouldn’t have booked, but it didn’t disappoint once inside, where the apartment was nicely renovated. It’s on the second floor with no elevator, and the stairwell feels a bit cramped. The bed is a pull‑out sofa on a wall, not very comfortable. The parking is one street away; we paid 25 € per day, and they said you couldn’t park your car there, only at the end.
