“Good rooms and helpful management, but beware of the parking gamble.”
The rooms were solid and the 24/7 hot water was a lifesaver for a hill station. The real star was the senior staff and management: when a rowdy midnight party erupted across the corridor, the night desk immediately responded after I called to hush them. Later, during a parking dispute, a sensible supervisor stepped in and rearranged the cars so we could park safely after the initial staff wouldn’t help. Crisis handling was good overall. Parking, however, is a stressful gamble: the lot holds only about 3 cars and works on first‑come, first‑served, so we had to drive our Force Traveller out for dinner because there are no vegetarian restaurants nearby and lost our spot. Returning at 9 PM, the parking staff were unhelpful and tried to force us onto a random roadside instead of moving a small car in the basement. The hotel also skimped on basic amenities—no dental kit and only one tiny bar of soap for two people.
Good
The location was good, the room and washrooms were neat and clean, and parking space was sufficient.
The staff were good, the room and toilet were clean.
