The house sits in a great spot with lovely vistas, fully equipped with new furniture and appliances. The courtyard is spacious, has a barbecue area, and we could bring our small dog. Maria, who oversees the property, helped make the stay more comfortable, and we thank her for that.
However, a few issues left a negative impression: 1. Security cameras are installed around the courtyard, one close to the front door, and no one warned us that they also record audio. When you seek solitude in a rural house, you don't expect every conversation to be recorded and potentially listened to remotely by the owner at any time. The courtyard camera, as far as I understand, covers the bedroom's panoramic window, so be careful with curtains. Video surveillance is necessary, but privacy concerns should be disclosed. 2. The owner is polite and courteous in general, but during a dispute that arose, he did not take the guest’s side, which was also disappointing.
