We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The food was top-notch - always fresh and varied. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff in the restaurants and at reception. The price was fair for what we got. However, the hotel itself and the rooms are old and in need of a proper renovation - the repairs look shoddy and the decor is tired. The mattresses were ridiculously hard, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep.
We were really grateful to Gülsüm for finding us a soft pillow, it made a big difference. The food was amazing, we loved it. It was great that the music wasn't just Russian, it was a nice mix of international and Turkish tracks.
The hotel's cleanliness and staff were top-notch, but the aquapark area was a long way off and really crowded. And the sea was dirty, which was a shame.
