The place was tidy and close to the city center, which I liked. I chose it because the ad promised a private bathroom, but it turned out to be an apartment with a shared one.

Very central, which was great. It felt like a private residence, maybe a bit too private for my taste.

The location fit our needs perfectly, and it was convenient for exploring Southampton and for our cruise ship.

The spot was well‑located and I managed a later checkout. The room faced the main road, so traffic noise kept me from sleeping well. There was no coffee, tea, milk, or kettle, and the shower door was wobbly; overall, I felt pretty isolated.

The host was friendly and answered all our questions, even showing us a nice pedestrian street full of good restaurants. I would have liked to stay a bit longer.
