Very quiet spot and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made the stay pleasant.

The setting is lovely – lots of mandarin trees and green foliage, plus a decent grill and camping area that work well for family get‑togethers. The little pool is fine for the kids, but getting there is a hassle and the rooms are pretty basic: no curtains, a noisy upper floor with creaky boards, and the upstairs rooms are tiny with just a few drawers. The kitchen is missing a lot of the usual cookware, and the neglected pond nearby seems to be a mosquito breeding ground that could use draining.

The hosts were helpful at every turn, the rooms stayed clean and the place had everything needed for a relaxing break. It’s also conveniently close to countryside restaurants and sits nicely between San Gil and Barichara.

I liked the peace of being away from the city, but the pool was dirty and the cabin’s bathroom had an unpleasant smell.
