The Boutique Hotel Kronenhof in Zürich is a 3-star hotel with a unique blend of 1960s design and modern comforts. The hotel's exterior, planned by a student of Le Corbusier, retains its original polarizing style, while the interior features lovingly furnished themed rooms and a living café, "Chrönli", with a 1960s-style bathroom and diverse decor. Guests enjoy spring water, a nearby Indian restaurant, and easy access to Zürich.

Check‑in and check‑out were easy. The noise was a problem: on Sunday from 7‑10 am there was a lot of noise from cleaning staff and guests coming and going, and the staff didn’t seem to care about the disturbance.

The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The overall environment was quiet. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Parking should be offered to guests, as should breakfast.

The place sits in a convenient spot and stays tidy, but the restaurant lacks a kitchen to heat food.

The desk and breakfast were useful, yet a bothersome bell right behind the door kept getting hit accidentally, waking me and the neighbors at night; there was no air‑conditioning and the windows faced a four‑lane street.
