The place was clean. The “villa” was actually a windowless hotel room stacked with other “villas”; it wasn’t a villa at all, just a hotel room. The “private pool” turned out to be a large tub next to the door on a busy walking path.

The rooms were modern, elegant and comfortable, and I loved the sea view and the tub. The staff were accommodating. The breakfast at the restaurant could taste better and offer more quantity, and the tapas portions were extremely small.

The hotel was beautifully designed and decorated. The room offered an amazing ocean view, and the sunset was spectacular. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean, the shower had good water pressure and warmed up quickly. A short walk to cafés and restaurants, and the in‑house restaurant Una was amazing. The attention to detail and tasteful furniture felt luxurious. Thank you for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The staff went above and beyond, making my proposal to my fiancé on the back beach possible by moving heaven and earth. The rooms are beautifully decorated and stylish. Una, the on‑site restaurant, is probably the best place I've eaten in the Philippines outside Manila—fantastic. The neighboring café is also brilliant. The only drawback is that getting a trike can be a bit tough at times.
