“A delightful small hotel a few steps from the centre of Bordeaux.”

The front‑desk team went above and beyond, the rooms were fantastic, and breakfast was tasty; even with our two little girls, the staff made them feel welcome. The pool felt more like a plunge pool, but we were glad to have any option in those temperatures.

The spot, the staff—who were genuinely courteous and very helpful—and the cleanliness were all great. However, the first room we got immediately after arrival had a noisy water drainage issue, and the second room kept having drainage problems and a strong odor in the sink that we had to flush hot water through to clear.

The staff were warmly welcoming, the beds and linens were very comfortable, and the facilities were solid, though the pool was tiny and tended to be crowded by people in the bar and dining area. The location was ideal for exploring Bordeaux.

The location was great and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, while spacious, was poorly finished and the jacuzzi seemed to have a mind of its own.

The reception, valet, and bar staff were friendly and helpful; the hotel’s general setting was pleasant and well‑located. The room didn’t meet 5‑star standards: the terrace access door didn’t close, one of the shutters wouldn’t shut, the sink was clogged for three days, dishes were washed in the sink, the terrace was not maintained, and the jacuzzi’s hygiene was questionable. The pool was visible to people sitting on the bar terrace—details that make the difference between a 5‑star experience and a 6‑star one.
