The apartment was truly exceptional and very typical of the area. It’s in a great spot, so everything in Amsterdam is walkable. However, the place could use a bit more polish: the bathtub drain was clogged, some lamps didn’t work, and there was only one switch that turned on all the lights, which was a bit annoying. The listing promised breakfast was included, but that wasn’t true, and we were disappointed because we chose the place for that reason.

The room had a nice charm and a good location. The bed and bedding were terrible: the pillows were disgusting, the duvet didn’t fit the bed and was very thin, the sheets weren’t ironed, the mattress was worn out, and there was a sewage smell that forced us to keep the window open.

The only thing that was good was the location. The room smelled of damp and mildew, the staff was problematic, and despite booking two nights, we only managed to stay one because my wife fell ill from the damp and mildew odor.
