We spent one night with a group of friends at this rural house. Overall, we liked it: the house is huge, very pretty, with ample space for all of us to be together and we felt very comfortable. The accommodation itself is ten. However, a few things dampened the experience. A few weeks before the trip, we were asked for a security deposit that wasn’t mentioned in the original reservation terms, and we were told we couldn’t cancel or get a refund for it. We understand it’s requested, but it should have been disclosed before booking. The same happened with early check‑in and late check‑out: we were told it was possible if there was availability, but never informed beforehand that it would cost extra. When we arrived, we noticed some kitchen utensils and items were not fully clean; in a cupboard we found a shirt left by a previous guest, and in one bathroom there was a used soap bar. At checkout, we were told we had stained sheets, but we were absolutely sure we hadn’t—this misunderstanding left a slightly bitter taste at the end of the trip. Despite these details, we want to emphasize that the house is wonderful and has great potential. We’re confident that clearer communication of conditions and attention to these small details will make it an unbeatable stay.
