We had to get to a sports event before 7, and the staff on duty opened up breakfast for us a little early; I liked having a bedroom away from the TV room. The cost was a drawback.

The spot was perfect for the Tunnel to Towers event, a bike trail right across the street, a gas station just a minute away, and getting there was a breeze. The bathroom cleaning left something to be desired, with paint peeling on the walls and ceiling and clear signs of water damage near the window and in the corner of the room. I paid $340 for a room, which feels like the hotel is exploiting event guests; on a regular night a room would probably max out at $225.

The place feels updated, the rooms are cozy and the overall vibe is cute. However, some of the carpet is starting to lift, and the price could have been a bit lower.
