Excellent place, lovely owners, quirky and beautiful building and decorated. Not much to add.
The stay was absolutely perfect for our needs. This property was filled with a loving touch of history and stories. It had a very warm and homely feeling, and the hosts complemented this with their “nothing was a problem” outlook. The breakfast menu had many choices; our English breakfast was hot and very tasty. The hosts accommodated my mum’s health issues and resolved it within 2 minutes of mentioning it. We absolutely loved our stay here and plan to return soon. We owe Terry and Lynette for their beautiful home. I was in awe of the efforts that were made. Highly recommended!
“Cozy & Convenient”
Cozy & Convenient and a great price
Beds are very comfortable but there are steep stairs in the bedroom to reach the toilet. Terry, the owner, was kind.
“Quite a magical place, I could have stayed a lot longer but we were on a road trip.”
The bed‑and‑breakfast surprised me in the best way; the old house had a charm that made the history feel alive. Terry and Lynette greeted us with friendliness and offered a bottle of Terry’s homemade elderflower wine along with a breakfast that kept us from going hungry. The rooms were well furnished and the beds comfortable, and we appreciated having a safe parking spot; the bathroom, though on a different floor, was beautiful. The only drawback was that we were supposed to stay on our return journey too, but we missed our ferry in Holland, so that’s the only apology I can offer.
