מאמא לילי, a wonderful 60‑year‑old woman, was a joy to talk to—funny, light‑hearted, and she walked with us about 20 km through villages (she does it 4‑5 times a week). She cooks tasty food and helps with everything.

Lily and her family were fantastic, greeted us warmly, and we dined together with other tourists in the evening. Breakfast featured pancakes with honey and bananas, which were tasty. We learned a lot about the family’s life, strolled through rice terraces with breathtaking views, and walked narrow alleys to observe local life. Thank you, we enjoyed it. The bed was firm, the linens weren’t fresh, and there was a smell coming from the toilet.

Every morning I woke up with stunning views over the rice fields, and breakfast was always a treat no matter how late I slept in. The family was fantastic, and I ended up staying much longer than planned. The bungalows were cozy, and family dinner was always super delicious. Trekking with Mama Lili was one of the best experiences—you’ll have so much fun. 12/10, I’d come back anytime to Mama Lili’s.
