“Stay at Siesta DeGoa”
The air is clean and the surroundings are nice, and the room and bathroom were tidy. However, there are no good restaurants nearby and hailing a taxi is hard; the hotel should offer transportation options.

The property itself is decent, but the room assigned to me was awful: the toilet door wouldn’t close, the TV was broken, and the AC didn’t work. After I reported it at 12:00 am, an office staff member came at 10:00 am on the first day to replace the batteries, and they also confirmed that breakfast was not available at the times advertised.

The AC remote didn’t work and I couldn’t control the unit.

Everything was fine. We liked everything and would return on our next vacation.

The staff were lovely, super friendly, and extremely helpful. The pool was a godsend, and walking to the beach took about 30 minutes. The beach shacks were all excellent, and the food was great and inexpensive. Everything around was quiet. The downside was that our room was next to the kitchen, so it was very noisy late at night with cleaning and pots and pans being washed. Booking a room at the rear overlooking the fields would avoid that issue. Litter is a big problem once you step outside the property, but that’s a common issue across India.
