I appreciated the seclusion and privacy of the property - it was really peaceful. However, I did notice that the road leading to the property can get quite messy during rainy seasons, which might be a concern for some visitors.

My stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The chalet was filthy, with unclean bedding that had a strong, unpleasant odor. The owner, Tim, was extremely rude and appeared to be intoxicated, which was concerning. To make matters worse, his aggressive dog nearly attacked me when I returned the keys, and Tim didn't intervene - my brother had to step in to protect me.

I had an amazing time at Tree Haven - it was the perfect retreat from the city. The cabin was comfortable, and being surrounded by nature was incredibly calming and rejuvenating.

The Hogsback experience itself was what drew me in, but unfortunately, the accommodation fell short in many areas. The place was dirty, with a filthy patio deck and unclean patio door, and basic amenities like a mop and broom were missing. The steep stairs to the bedroom area were also a concern, especially for older guests. To top it off, I felt it was overpriced given the subpar conditions.
