“It was good place to stop for the night before an an early sailing.”
We were told the room had been upgraded, yet it only had a bathtub with no shower and no handheld spray on the tap.

The site is amazing, right on the sea front beside the old fort. Parking is a nightmare—no on‑site spots and public parking is hard to find and pricey. The room above the main pub was noisy, with a party that stayed loud until 11 pm.

The place was perfect for our needs, just a few minutes from the wedding venue, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was temperamental, switching from very hot to very cold with a slight dial turn, and the mirror could have been a bit lower.

Everything is within walking distance and there’s a car park next door. The rooms are quirky, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were all friendly. The bedroom floor hadn’t been swept or vacuumed, and the toilet and floor might need replacing because of a faint odor.

We were greeted with the warmest welcome and the staff arranged a safe spot for our bikes. The downside was the shower cabin in the room and a shared toilet in the hallway, which felt less convenient.
