“Casita acogedora.”
The hotel is gorgeous and the front‑desk staff were wonderful, plus the location is spot on. Nothing to complain about.

Staying in the heart of Beijing was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent and varied each day, and we’ll definitely return!

The architecture is charming and living in an old‑style villa is a lot of fun. The location is convenient for nearby restaurants and cultural sites, and the staff made a real effort to make the stay special. However, the room was uncomfortable, especially for older guests. The walkways and courtyard are inaccessible for those with mobility issues, heavy luggage, or needing a wheelchair. The bathroom lacks handles or grab bars for toilet and shower safety. The platform bed has hard wooden edges that make getting in and out painful or require gymnastics. Overall, it was an uncomfortable experience, albeit somewhat intriguing. Taxis and UBERs are only available at the far corners of the property, requiring long walks to reach or leave the premises.

This hotel's old Chinese house exterior is a great spot, and the rooms are a nice surprise with modern interiors, fresh furniture, and up-to-date equipment. The breakfast buffet could use more variety, though - it seemed to cater mainly to Chinese tastes, which was a bit limiting for international guests. Still, it's a nice place to stay.

We were really touched by the hotel staff's exceptional hospitality - they went above and beyond to help my elderly parents, who were traveling to China for the first time. From arranging a guide for the Forbidden City to carrying their luggage, the team was incredibly kind and attentive. The hotel itself is a beautiful, authentic traditional building in a charming pedestrian old quarter - perfect for exploring.
