It’s a small, lovely boutique hotel that feels like an island in the jungle, with stylish décor, a fantastic pool, a comfy bed, a spacious bathroom, a beautiful bath, and a great shower pressure. The amenities are high quality and the staff are super kind, helpful, and always smiling. It was pretty good for our 4‑day stay in Uluwatu! PS: they arranged a very kind honeymoon decoration and gave us a delicious cake to celebrate. Not related to the hotel itself, but although the location isn’t far from Uluwatu’s main road, it isn’t really walkable. There are no sidewalks or illumination (the hotel provides lanterns). You literally have to share the roads with motorcycles and big cars, and it’s a very hilly area. It’s not a problem if you have a scooter though.

The place sits right in the heart of the city, just a 12‑minute stroll to cafés, eateries, and markets, and only 20 minutes to Padang Padang beach. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful at all times. The pool area feels nice and relaxing, and there’s a rooftop spot where you can do yoga or work out. Rooms stay clean and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Dara Boutique Team, for having us. The only downside was the very little natural light in the rooms or bathrooms.
