It was a very peaceful spot in the woods, yet just a short walk from the train station.

The mattress was unusually soft at first, but otherwise everything was perfect, even with a water bottle, tea, and kettle in the room.

We had a decent room, but the host was a bit of a pain. We'd booked for four people, but it ended up just being two of us for three nights and three people for one night. The host wanted an extra €65 for another room, which seemed unfair. We'd already paid for four people, so it felt like a bit of a rip-off.

I loved the local vibe of this place - it's got a great Bavarian feel to it. The room was stocked with some nice touches, like coffee, tea, and even a bottle of Zirndorf beer, which was a nice surprise. The free dinner was a bonus, although it was a bit too salty for my taste. However, the check-in process was a bit of a mess - the host, Anna, wasn't expecting me and had to find me a new room, which was freezing cold at first.
