The Ocean Views Resort Caloundra is situated on Caloundra's main street, a 5-minute walk from Bulcock Beach. Modern rooms and apartments feature balconies, flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee making facilities. The resort boasts a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and rooftop BBQ area. Guest laundry facilities and free covered parking are available, with proximity to Sunshine Coast Airport and Brisbane.

The location is very central. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, offering free town maps and tourist brochures, and the access is secure. (I didn’t use the car parking.) The apartment is generously sized, with a mini‑bar fridge, desk, wardrobe, and sofa, and the view looks out over the mountains (no sea view). The bathroom is also reasonably sized, with a basin that has plenty of bench space for toiletries—wonderful! Free Wi‑Fi is reliable. The beach, shops, and supermarkets are within walking distance. A broom or dustpan in the room would be handy to sweep up beach sand from my runners. I didn’t need housekeeping during my stay, but they changed my towels and the sand remained on the floor, which was inconvenient when barefoot. The rooms also lack good soundproofing; I could hear external doors opening and closing late at night and people using the outdoor pool.

The place is nice and clean, close to shops and restaurants. They were very accommodating, letting me check in a little earlier, and communication was great. Nothing.
