“Cheap break”
Location and breakfast were fine, but the building is extremely old and dilapidated, the furniture is rickety, and the bed linen is dirty.

Location, breakfast, and staff were good, but the decor needs an update.

I liked the central spot, but the lack of a lift made it a real chore to climb the stairs.

Everything was spot on: the room was mostly new, breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and a full English made to order that was lovely, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect – I’d definitely stay again and recommend. The only downside was that the mattress felt a bit hard; a topper might fix that.
