“Peccato…”

The room was close enough to the city centre. The bathroom was a tiny crawlspace, the shower was very small and could easily flood the room. We stayed next to the entrance, so the door slammed and people constantly rushed by, carrying luggage that hit every step, which made us want to leave for a quieter place. Even though the location is convenient and the owner is very friendly, if you’re a light sleeper and want to sleep until at least 8 am, this first room isn’t suitable for you.

The location was good. The building is very old, poorly equipped, the bathroom small, and it’s noisy.

The service was great; they waited for us to check in even when our flight was delayed. A plus is that it’s somewhat near the port but quite far from the city centre. The room was small, far from the centre, with many hills. Too much light in the room made it hard to rest. Everything outside could be heard. The beds could be better and the pillows were somewhat uncomfortable.

The place was nicely located, not too far (and not too close) to bus stops and attractions, and there was a convenient supermarket nearby. The lady there gave very helpful tips. We’re writing honestly: there was no soundproofing at all; you could literally hear everything outside the door. The bathroom was cramped and basically falling apart—many handles seemed just attached to hinges to look functional but were actually loose. We had the ground‑floor room closest to the exit, so every step anyone took felt like it was in our room. Finally, the bottom inner staircase of the apartment was built into our bathroom above the toilet, and everyone going up and down could clearly hear knocks inches above our heads.
