I can only say positives, especially the location in the center, very clean, helpful assistance at check‑in. The dinner was exceptionally good. Free public parking is only about 5 minutes on foot. And overall the atmosphere and the attention to detail, including the lovely furnishings, are wonderful. The hotel also has a nice, pretty, dreamy terrace with a direct view of the Ponte del Diavolo – the Devil’s Bridge. 👺😉

“Wenn die Kommunikation vorher passt: gerne wieder”

The accommodation gave us a very positive wow experience. We felt transported to another era – but with modern comfort. It’s a very beautiful old house with a similar staircase and, for example, old pictures on the walls. Our suite was set up similarly. Very tasteful and quiet with a bathroom that matched the style of the whole house. We could have breakfast in a nearby bar. The restaurant is on the ground floor. We booked the accommodation in June 2025 and received a confirmation message on 01.06.2025. It stated that we would receive an email before arrival. On the day of arrival, we were told that a) they did not have our email address and b) the online check‑in must be completed by 17:00. Why weren’t we asked for the email address 15 months in advance? Also, we learned on the day of arrival that everything was handled via WhatsApp, which we were not aware of. Why isn’t this communicated? And why isn’t the channel used? If a property opts out of a reception, the communication from the booking confirmation onward must match, and the communication channel must be known to the traveler from the start. We found the entire process on arrival to be a communication disaster – especially because an online check‑in after 17:00 seemed impossible. We would not even consider alternatives if check‑in after 17:00 were not possible.

The spacious room with super‑designer details was great. The quiet location and the Osteria on the ground floor were nice. We extended from one to two nights, and both evenings we ate at the Osteria! The fridge stopped working after 5 minutes and was simply unplugged.
