Location. The room smelled like smoke, the reception area smelled like garbage, and the shower didn’t work.

Pretty much everything about the hotel and room exceeded my expectations. I often stay at the Holiday Inn for work; for personal travel I tried the Holiday Inn Express in Shenyang, and it was a great decision! Maybe an English‑language map of Shenyang’s sights would help.

“Amazing Value, Great Staff”

Incredible value and staff! It’s a Holiday Inn, so it’s definitely not a luxury hotel, but it was extremely convenient and easy to get to. Most, if not all, of the staff speaks proficient English and the complimentary breakfast was great, although small. Honestly, there was nothing that disappointed me about this stay; I was very pleased!
