“Very nice mid-range property Thst’s convenient to everything.”

The hotel is close to Old Quebec, in a safe, upscale area with a pleasant lobby and friendly staff who speak English; the rooms were spacious and there’s a restaurant on the property, and it’s within walking distance of coffee shops and Old Quebec, but there are no special perks or amenities like lotion or body wash.

The beds were clean and comfortable, but the toilet broke during the night, the room was stuffy and hot even with the air‑con on, and the safe was locked; when I asked, they said it couldn’t be used, even though the hotel booklet in the room advised guests to use it.

The hotel’s location and the view from the room were nice, and the bed was comfortable, yet the overall experience suffered because the property clearly lacked recent renovations and maintenance—our room’s bathroom was visibly worn, and we ran out of hot water on several days. The gym was outdated and many machines were broken. The staff seemed unwelcoming and not very solution‑oriented; for instance, we couldn’t check in 15 minutes before the standard time even though the room appeared ready, and we were told we couldn’t have a drink on the top floor because of a scheduled event, even though no one else was there.

“Overpriced”

I stayed right next to the Plains of Abraham, which was great, but the room felt very dated and worn out, needing a full revamp; the bathroom had cracked tiles and mold‑like stains on both tiles and grouting.
