The restaurant was closed, the bar was closed, it was August 15th and the hotel was empty. It seems geared toward winter sports.

Katarina was extremely friendly and helpful, doing everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was a nice size, but unfortunately very dark because it faced the garden (toward the neighbor). Also, the neighbor’s heat pump/air‑conditioner could be heard all the time. The sauna area was nice and suited 2‑4 people. Breakfast was very good, with minor shortcomings. We stayed for four nights in a very remote spot, but on the main road to Samnaun (the free‑trade zone). The hotel was open the week before the season ended. The restaurant we had hoped to visit because of the remote location was closed, as was the bar. So we had to drive 8 km to the next village for food. Katarina arranged a decent buffet from the available items at breakfast, but she wasn’t there every day, so sometimes the bread wasn’t fresh or was burnt.

Great location, a solid starting point for motorcycle tours. If you’re looking for peace, this is the place. The warm welcome and personal atmosphere from Katharina were especially noteworthy—such friendly people who love their job are rare. Top 👌

The manager was very kind, but the place feels like a ghost town—19 km from the nearest village—and the on‑site restaurant doesn’t work.
