Located 300 m from Astorga Cathedral and Gaudí Palace, Hostal Coruña sits at the crossroads of the French Santiago Route and Roman Silver Route. The place is very central, and as a Camino pilgrim I didn’t use any of the facilities, but the staff were excellent. In August the rooms were sweltering and the fan was useless.

The place was okay, but the restaurants nearby weren’t good.

Nothing special about the hotel, it feels a bit dated. I’d only recommend it for a single night and for a hot shower.
