The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they have a cat named Miles who is absolutely lovely and mischievous, the shower water had good pressure and heated up quickly, the bathroom facilities worked well, and the location is amazing. However, it was really crowded, I almost twisted my ankle a few times walking around the ground floor, there are many random steps that aren’t well marked, our pillow cases had a damp/musty smell when we first arrived, they changed the cases for us but the smell had already gotten into the pillows, we didn’t want to be a bother and ask again late at night for new pillows – it was manageable, the room’s layout made no sense – the deluxe queen room has a giant, slim closet that can’t hold anything, there was nowhere to hang our clothes, a table took up space in the room even though there are tables right outside in the corridor, I didn’t see the point of the inside table, everything outside could be heard, and honestly the decor seemed kind of cheap except for the lobby and the grand room behind it, so I felt the cost of the stay didn’t match the accommodation.
