The Tiny is located in the countryside. It lacks a thermal blackout curtain, so once the lights are on there’s no privacy. The bathroom windows are not blackout, so young women had no privacy for our shower.

The idea of a cottage in the green with a nice wooden interior is appealing. The cottage sits in the courtyard of a farmhouse a little outside Faumont. There’s no toilet, so you have to use a black bag in a bin bucket, then take it to the courtyard and discard it in the non‑recyclable waste. There are no extra bathroom or shower facilities like you’d find at a campsite. Nearby services are scarce: a bakery 1.5 km away and a bar 3 km away. For the price, you could do better; the photos don’t match the reality.
