The room was spacious enough and the breakfast was sufficient, but the cleanliness fell short: the bathroom was outdated, the carpet was stained, spider webs hung from the ceiling everywhere, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. When I asked for help, nothing was done. The restaurant was closed all the time, and the “guest entrance” ran past the garbage area.

The outdoor play areas for kids and the breakfast were good, but the room’s cleanliness was lacking. Even after I requested a vacuum for the next day’s stay, they didn’t vacuum it.

The breakfast was great, and my kids loved the swing and slide, and the staff were super friendly. However, the room wasn’t vacuumed, and even when I asked if it could be vacuumed for the next day, they didn’t do it. Spiders were in the shower, sink, and corners of the room, and the space behind the bed and nightstands needed a serious vacuum.

De meisjes die voor de bediening in de eetzaal zorgen waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam, hoewel ze Duits en Engels niet volledig machtig waren. Schnitzel en cordon blue waren lekker. Ontbijt was voldoende en lekker. Communicatie via booking of sms werd niet op geantwoord. Hotel was moeilijk te bereiken door wegenwerken, maar geen enkele communicatie hierover door de uitbater. Ontvangst: geen welkom, geen uitleg. enkel sleutels in de handen gedrukt gekregen. Bleek achteraf een Roemeense barman te zijn (verstond nauwelijks Duits of Engels). kwam nors en onvriendelijk over. We waren om 19u15 aangekomen, het 'restaurant' was nog tot 21u00 open volgens website. toch moesten we snel-snel bestellen en om 20u30 naar onze kamers. Op de Stiegler-schotel lagen 3 stukken vlees die totaal overgaar tot zwart gebakken waren. Het bier was half lauw (kwam nochtans uit de koelkast). In de kamers was het beddengoed van een aantal bedden klammig, een aantal handdoeken met plekken in, enkel handzeep (geen douche gel), stofplukken in de kamer. De trappenhal waarlangs we binnen waren gekomen, bleek na 22u00 afgesloten. we hebben zelf onze weg naar buiten moeten zoeken. Bij het ontbijt hebben we zelf aan de bediening moeten vragen of er ook warme gerechten mogelijk waren zoals een gekookt eitje
