The staff were friendly. The location was a plus because the hotel is close to the Louvre and other sights, but the street itself isn’t very fresh. Breakfast only had full-fat cheeses, a bit of smoked salmon that wasn’t refilled, sausage, full yoghurts, no fresh rolls, only toast, brioche and a few slices of baguette, and the croissants were industrial‑made, tough and tasteless. There were two types of breakfast cereals that tasted very sweet, as if sugar had been mixed in. The two‑person room had only one sink, no water fountain in the toilet, the shower water was sometimes just lukewarm, and the carpet was dirty with several stains. The cleaner threw my pyjama on the floor when making the beds and forgot to put it back on top. One evening we returned to the hotel and the cleaner had her card in the holder so the room door stayed open while we were away. That’s why you’d rather not pay 700 euros per night for a two‑person room. The hallway leading to the room was very dark, with three black‑painted walls and dark carpet, and almost no light, which was very unpleasant.

The hotel was in a good spot on a quiet street with tons of restaurants and shops all around. It was a short walk to the Louvre, so it was very central. They kindly provided included amenities like chocolates and a bottle of juice, complimentary water, a mini‑fridge, and coffee in the room. We slept really well, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. I liked everything.
