Being close to both the station and my destination was a real help, and I liked the provided shampoo and other toiletries, although the lobby and corridors were dim and felt scary.

There were plenty of eateries nearby, which was convenient, and while the hotel showed its age, that’s to be expected for a property of its vintage.

I enjoyed a hearty pork steak set with plenty of onions at the hotel’s restaurant for dinner and the toast at breakfast was tasty, plus the large public bath was available both morning and evening, and I didn’t notice any real drawbacks.

The location was good with many restaurants and a park close by, the business‑hotel standards were average‑plus and the price felt cheap, but the parking area was gravel‑covered and the on‑site lot was far too narrow.

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay, thanks to the hotel's quiet atmosphere. The spacious room was a lovely bonus, but I was a bit surprised when housekeeping knocked on my door at 10 am for cleaning.
