The accommodation and breakfast were lovely, but the owner speaks little English, so we had to find a way to get our points across. It’s far from the city center and the access road is tricky, so neither the pick‑me service nor the tuk‑tuks were willing to go there without an extra fee.
Jagath waited without issue until we arrived (outside the scheduled time). He was very kind in storing our luggage before check‑in and also prepared a tasty, plentiful breakfast to take when we had to leave early. I would appreciate a quick check of a couple of small holes in the mosquito net so we can sleep even more peacefully than the accommodation and surroundings already helped us.
The staff are available and pleasant. The spot is slightly isolated in the heights of Ella, with no noise.
“La gentillesse de l hôte et la tranquillité !!!”
An adorable person with two little children, the room is great with a tiny terrace. The location is quiet, up in the forest, away from mass tourism. The meals are good and inexpensive, and she takes care of us—we really enjoyed it. There’s no Wi‑Fi, but that isn’t a big deal.
The tuk‑tuk ride to the stay was fine. Never plan to stay there at night, as it’s located in an isolated hill area.
