The outdoor area and pool were great, but the rooms were just okay.

Excellent service paired with a wonderful historic property that’s well kept and renovated, tucked away in a quiet diplomatic quarter. The cosy, stylish wooden rooms, great garden and pool, excellent food and cool bar all offer very good value for money. The hotel was flexible, accommodating our two postponements without a hitch, and the staff went the extra mile. We enjoyed a smooth early check‑out at 4 am, received a punctual wake‑up call, and were treated to fresh coffee and delicious takeaway breakfast. Thank you!

The Governor's Residence feels like a place out of time; the gardens and building are perfectly maintained and incredibly beautiful. The staff are helpful and attentive, and the breakfast was exceptional—better than a buffet because you can order any menu item as many times as you like.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with its exceptional culinary offerings, a refreshing swimming pool, and beautifully designed interior. However, I felt that the hotel's facilities were somewhat limited, and I would have appreciated having access to a gym or an indoor walkway. Additionally, I think the hotel could consider revising its pricing to make it more competitive, given the current state of its facilities.
