The room was spotless and set in a quiet spot with an amazing view of Mertola, and the private terrace had a pool. The restaurant nearby was good. The shower was a bit cool in the morning.

The accommodation looked great and was well decorated, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I liked how close it was to the village centre by car. The pool was a big plus. However, there was no proper soundproofing, so you could hear everything from other rooms and corridors. The room was never cleaned or tidied once during the whole week I stayed, while most places make the beds daily. On the first day we were told the TV wasn’t working because of an internet issue, but that was supposed to be fixed the next day. Four more days passed and the problem stayed. It seemed like only that TV was broken, since the TVs in the neighbouring rooms worked fine, and the common lounge TV also worked. These are important areas to improve, especially the rooms.
