John greeted us warmly and even set out a light breakfast with some snacks, which was a nice touch, and the flat was tidy and nicely equipped. On the downside, the hot water never got really hot and parking is limited to street spots only. The kitchen is pretty basic – just a microwave, a tiny fridge and a single electric fry‑pan, no oven or hot plates – and a recycling bin would be a welcome addition.
