They don't speak Portuguese. I had to speak English in a Portuguese accommodation. I requested the invoice at check‑in and still keep asking for it via message and phone, with no reply. There were huge bedbugs (larger than a 2€ coin) crawling on the walls.

I only liked the price, but I saw why it was so low. The place was dirty; we stayed two nights and no one asked if we wanted the room cleaned. The bathroom was shared and never cleaned in two days; there were paper in the trash can, a bath towel on the floor, and the curtains in the room were ripped and unclean. The staff barely spoke Portuguese, which left a lot to be desired, and I deeply regret booking.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location is perfect if you have a car; the beaches are great, 10/15 minutes away, and supermarkets and restaurants are close too. The bathrooms were clean, even though they were shared. The staff were excellent and attentive. The kitchen was shared and smelled odd from so many people cooking, but it stayed clean.

The bed was extremely comfortable and large, and there were multiple bathrooms, so no waiting for a shower. The bathrooms were old and outdated and need an update, but we still got value for money.
