The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful. I got the best room in the house, complete with a lovely balcony, and the small thoughtful touches—like complimentary homemade cakes in the sunroom—made the stay even better. I would definitely return. I wouldn’t say anything negative; the old building is well priced and they make the most of what they have.

Staying at the Seaview Sanctuary was a pleasure. Both hosts were welcoming and a joy to talk with. My room faced the shoreline, had a balcony with seating, comfortable beds, and adjustable temperature. Beverages were provided, and water and milk were in the fridge daily. The separate toilet and shower came with an extra sink, which I appreciated. The toilet and shower were cleaned as needed or on request. The hosts did everything they could to make my stay exceptional. Breakfast was fresh every day, and I asked for special items that were delivered on time and to the requested location. Everything was well presented, and all pots, cutlery, and glassware were spotless. The price was spot on.

I loved everything about this place. The welcome was genuinely warm, the atmosphere great, and the breakfast beautifully served. The hosts were incredibly nice, and my room was a very good size. The location is central but quiet, and I liked the tranquillity. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like, and the room was extremely good value.

My sister and I were warmly welcomed by Rich and Katie; after Rich carried our bags upstairs, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with homemade cookies and cakes, which was a highlight after our outings. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and it was a delight to sit on the balcony each morning and evening overlooking the sea. I can’t think of anything to complain about!
