“We WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN! We’ve been treated like 2nd class citizens and not as customers!”
The location and Cotey’s cafe were perfect. The website claimed a £15 PER ROOM fee for pets, but the manager charged £15 PER NIGHT on arrival. When I raised the discrepancy she responded rudely, saying “it’s been £15/night for ages,” then disappeared after checking the website. She ignored me afterward. The mattress was bad and uncomfortable, the toilet didn’t flush properly, the TV remote malfunctioned, and there was no bath plug (I had to ask reception for one, which they then took from an empty room). The couch was worn and ripped (see photos). The overnight duty lady was lovely, helpful, and friendly, but the management was rude and unhelpful. The property looks tired and rundown and needs a refurbishment.
