The quiet yet central location, plenty of space, and especially the view from the kitchen and balcony were great, but the apartment got very warm and couldn't be cooled properly—air conditioning would have been very useful.

The apartment is truly a gem, with a unique spot and a superb view of the water; the tram makes it easy to reach the city, so overall it’s perfect, and the host is super friendly. However, the apartment feels old and worn; small fixes and investments could make a big difference. The dishwasher didn’t work, the balcony, cushions, and curtains needed cleaning, the shower head was heavily calcified and needed replacement, bulbs were missing from the lamp, and the chairs were broken. A fresh coat of paint would help. The otherwise comfortable beds had the drawback that the mattresses and toppers kept sliding, making a relaxed sleep difficult and requiring me to get up repeatedly to reposition them. The toilet is very small, so people of larger build might have to leave the door open. Also, note that the apartment is only reachable via narrow stairs (3 flights).

The accommodation looked exactly as shown in the photos, and the fridge was stocked from the start, exceeding all expectations.

The apartment is large, clean, and nice, with a beautiful view over the water, allowing me to see sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening. I can take Tram 26 to Amsterdam Centraal in just 15 minutes for 2,71 euros, and I also took Uber to Albert Cuyp Market for 17 euros.

A huge, airy room with gorgeous views and a spot right near the city center. The host was super friendly and we had everything we needed, plus a few extras. Thanks a lot! Definitely recommend.
