The view was awesome, I liked the little extras like the coffee and free firewood, and the nearby wine farms were great. We woke up to music from a party in the valley, but I know they couldn't do much about that. There was no hot water in our cabin because the gas heater broke; they arranged for us to shower in another cabin. The mattress wasn’t very comfy, and there was no place to wash dishes. I also found it odd that the electric blanket on the double bed only had one side plugged in, even though they said it would keep us warm.

The photos on the site were misleading; it was cold, uncomfortable, the shower didn’t work, it felt like a windy house, and it was untidy.

No meals were provided, and it looked very run down, nothing like the online adverts.

I really liked the beautiful outdoor setting, peaceful walks in nature, relaxing by the pool, and soaking up the sun. The lush green gardens around the cottage were especially lovely and added to the overall calm. The cottage had all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were attentive and helpful—when I asked for a broom, they came right away, and the lady even swept and changed the bedding. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like a TV on request and filter coffee to start the mornings right. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant stay. However, there were a few problems: on two mornings the power went out repeatedly, which also cut off the water supply—quite inconvenient. Our check‑out was at 12:00, but we had to wait about two hours because the previous group left late. I’m still waiting for a tax invoice I requested and haven’t received it yet.
